This free event will feature 40 poster exhibits, poster flash talks, and six breakout sessions on various topics related to continuous improvement and organizational excellence. Faculty and staff can still register to attend without lunch until April 14. Once maximum capacity is reached, registrants will be added to a waitlist.

People with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, obsessive compulsive disorder, and other learning differences are all considered neurodiverse. This session will focus on supporting these employees and helping them to thrive. The webinar is offered at no cost to all UW‒Madison employees. Register online to receive the Zoom link.

Organizers also announced that the campaign had raised $1,924,379 up to that point. Additional donations are needed to reach the $2 million goal. There is still time to support the needs of the wider community by giving to a diverse variety of charities. Donations will be accepted through May 15. Visit giving.wi.gov to learn more.

Tony Evers. The agreement includes a 4.12 percent general wage adjustment for employees within this bargaining unit, effective June 30, 2024.

These boxes provide free access to Narcan, a brand of naloxone nasal spray, which is a lifesaving medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose. Mnookin, Provost Charles Isbell Jr., and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Rob Cramer sent an email message to faculty and staff. The message referenced the March 14 passing of an appropriations bill by the U.S. Congress to keep the federal government running. Campus leaders affirmed that significant uncertainty remains as UW–Madison faces another appropriations deadline in September 2025.

In their email, Mnookin, Isbell Jr., and Cramer shared an update on the steps UW–Madison is taking to preserve our short- and long-term ability to carry out our mission amid this uncertainty. The email also referred campus community members to the Federal Updates page for updates, information and resources relevant to campus. A late-night session for second and third shift employees will be held Thursday, March 27, 11 p.m.‒1 a.m. at the Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC). A daytime session will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 9:30—11:30 a.m. at Gordon Dining & Event Center. Both sessions will be offered in English, Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali. No registration is required, and employees may attend on their work time. Employees should notify their supervisor if they plan to attend.
