Last week, UW–Madison provided updates on the availability of COVID-19 antigen and PCR tests, vaccines, and masks, along with advice on supporting your health as several respiratory viruses circulate this winter. No-cost antigen testing for COVID-19 will remain available to all students and employees at 333 East Campus Mall; please check pick-up hours. Antigen test availability will pause after Dec. 23 and resume on Jan. 3, 2023. Starting on Dec. 26, PCR testing for employees should be sought through a health care provider or an off-campus testing site. For updates, continue to visit covidresponse.wisc.edu.

Proposals are invited for presentations or posters at the 2023 UW–Madison Teaching & Learning Symposium on May 18. The theme, “Fostering Belonging, Bridging Divides,” focuses on cultivating active and inclusive teaching practices, understanding and valuing students’ lived experiences, and building and sustaining welcoming learning environments. Proposals are due by Jan. 31 at tlsymposium.wisc.edu/call.

Academic staff who are interested in serving on a shared governance committee are encouraged to complete the Committee Interest Survey.
