UW–Madison leadership shares 2024 survey results

In April 2024, most employees had the opportunity to complete the Administrative Quality Satisfaction Survey, which is used to gather insights about employee experiences with administrative services at both the central and local or departmental levels. The survey results show an increase in overall employee satisfaction (3.90 rating), compared to 2022 (3.81 rating). Increases in satisfaction were reported in finance, human resources, information technology, communication, and general administration. Respondents reported seeing process improvements with research compliance, travel, and purchasing.

New remote parking lot opening west of campus

Lot 204, a new remote parking lot near west campus and UW Hospitals and Clinics, is located at 3500 University Avenue. The lot will be served by a shuttle and may also be within biking and walking distance of campus for some users. Employees may apply for a permit beginning Nov. 20. Shuttle service will begin in early December. Transportation Services will accept applications on a rolling basis through spring 2025. Learn more at transportation.wisc.edu.

Partners in Giving: Together We Do More

The 2024–2025 Partners in Giving campaign is in full swing, with units across the UW–Madison campus holding events and friendly competitions that bring employees and retirees together to raise awareness and funds for charities of all shapes and sizes. The fall campaign runs officially through Giving Tuesday, Dec 3; however, giving is possible through May 15, 2025, so there’s still time to increase our impact. Requests for payroll deduction must be received by Dec. 31. Visit giving.wi.gov to make a pledge today.

Order Harvest Sale Dinner items by Nov. 22

University Housing is holding a Harvest Dinner Sale, offering homemade holiday meal items. The selection includes a variety of pies, made from scratch using local ingredients, as well as whole turkeys smoked in-house. All orders will need to be picked up curbside at Dejope Residence Hall at 640 Elm Drive (Lot 37) on either Nov. 26 or 27 from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Orders will be accepted online through this Friday, Nov. 22, at noon.
