March 20, 2025 |  |  | First round of parking applications closes May 31Transportation Services is accepting parking permit applications for the upcoming parking year (Sept. 1, 2024–Aug. 31, 2025). Apply by May 31 for first-round consideration for base lot (including reduced cost), Flex, UW Accessible, park and ride, and business alternate permits. First-round offers will be sent beginning July 10. Additional application rounds for these permit types are scheduled in July and August. Bus passes and other parking options will be available for purchase Aug. 1. Find details at transportation.wisc.edu.  |  |  |  | New video previews upcoming changes to data storage and reportingAs part of the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP), UW‒Madison will be transitioning to Workday, a cloud-based software platform that will streamline and simplify administrative processes. Alongside the Workday implementation, ATP is building the Enterprise Analytics Platform (EAP). The EAP will store decades of legacy data, as well as new information generated in Workday. A new video, What’s Changing with EAP Data and Reporting, provides an overview of how Universities of Wisconsin data will be stored and made accessible for future analysis and reporting. Previous months’ videos available online provide an overview of key business processes that will be standardized and streamlined when Workday goes live in July 2025. This year’s Diversity Form will be held on November 13 and 14 at Union South. Sessions will also be streamed online. The theme will be Threads of Belonging: Navigating Differences and Building Community. Breakout sessions can take the form of workshops, panel discussions or lectures. Criteria for a successful proposal can be found on the DDEEA website. The deadline to submit a proposal is Monday, June 10.  |  |
