In preparation, the Office of Human Resources suggests that you review the inclement weather guidelines for UW–Madison. The chancellor is responsible for determining if classes will be canceled or postponed or some university services suspended due to inclement weather. The chancellor’s decisions will be based on the safety and welfare of students, faculty and staff. A detailed description of the inclement weather guidelines is available at go.wisc.edu/2k979r.  |  |  |  | Review Your 2018 Benefits EnrollmentsThis is a good time to review your 2018 insurance coverage and any changes you made during the Annual Benefits Enrollment period which ended on October 27, 2017. You can view a summary of your benefits for 2018 online by using the MyUW portal. If you are University Staff and are paid every two weeks, premiums for 2018 coverage will be deducted starting with the paycheck dated December 21, 2017. If you are paid monthly as Faculty, Academic Staff, or a Limited Appointee, premiums for 2018 coverage will be deducted starting with the paycheck dated January 2, 2018. Detailed instructions on how to view your benefits information on the MyUW portal are available from the UW Service Center.
