March 17, 2025 | | | Enroll in Multi-Factor AuthenticationUW–Madison is currently transitioning to multi-factor authentication (MFA-Duo). All faculty and staff will be required to use multi-factor authentication to access NetID web-based applications by the end of March 2019. MFA requires two different channels of authentication when a user logs in. MFA offers a higher level of security for personal information and the university’s digital resources. It also helps protect unauthorized logins to NetID accounts, even if passwords have been compromised. Employees can enroll in MFA-Duo with a smartphone, token/fob, or tablet at mfa.wisc.edu. To obtain a token/fob, please contact your MFA-Duo Implementation Partner no later than March 28. For questions, please contact the DoIT Help Desk at help@doit.wisc.edu or 264-4357. | | | | Nominations for University Staff Awards Due ThursdayThursday, Feb. 28 is the deadline to submit nominations for the University Staff Recognition Award.
