Reminder: Transportation Services is accepting applications for base lot, Flex, accessible, park and ride, carpool, and business alternate parking permits. The first application deadline is Wednesday, May 29, with additional deadlines throughout the summer. Approved permits will be valid Sept. 1, 2026, through Aug. 31, 2027. The Wisconsin Athletic Department invites faculty and staff to request tickets for purchase for the Badger Football season opener at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Badgers play Notre Dame on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 6:30 p.m. The deadline to request tickets is Friday, June 5, at 4 p.m. Ticket prices and other details are available online.

UW–Madison will designate 2026 as the “Year of AI Readiness and Competency” in a coordinated, campuswide effort to ensure that students, faculty, and staff are prepared to use artificial intelligence thoughtfully, responsibly, and in service to the Wisconsin Idea. The effort will focus on moving toward broad institutional readiness, placing people, judgment, and institutional guardrails at the center.

More than 1,700 UW–Madison employees contributed resources to support hundreds of charities during the 2025–2026 Partners in Giving campaign, which officially closed May 15. Together with Universities of Wisconsin, UW Health and State of Wisconsin employees, university employees raised more than $2 million to build a better tomorrow. UW employees are encouraged to engage in next year’s campaign, which will launch in the fall, as volunteers, event participants, donors, and advocates.
