Apply by June 10 for early consideration for base lot (including reduced cost), flex, UW disabled, park and ride, and business alternate permits. Applications for these permit types will also be accepted between late July and mid-August. Apply by August 16 to increase your chances of receiving a parking permit offer by September 1. Find details at transportation.wisc.edu.  |  |  |  | Late-Night Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Social on June 29A late-night Ice Cream Social will be held to express appreciation to UW–Madison’s second and third shift employees on Wednesday, June 29, at Gordon Dining and Events Center and Dejope Residence Hall (Lake Mendota Room) from 10:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., or until supplies run out. Campus leaders will give out free ice cream in pre-made cups. Gluten-free, gelatin-free, and dairy-free options will be available at both locations. Employees may arrive at any time during the event. Free parking will be available in Lot 91 for the Gordon Dining and Events Center and Lots 35, 37, and 58 for Dejope Residence Hall. Information is available online in six languages.  |  |  |  | Reminder: Submit Leave Reports by June 30Faculty, Academic Staff, and Limited Appointees are required to submit monthly leave reports, whether or not leave is used. Employees must report leave as it is taken, or enter a “No Leave Taken” at the end of the month. Missing leave reports must be entered by June 30, 2022, for fiscal year July 2021 through June 2022. Failure to submit leave for fiscal year 2022 will result in a permanent reduction of sick leave hours. Employees with missing leave reports receive email notification and may also check for missing leave reports at any time in MyUW. Employees should ensure that they do not have any missing leave reports. June 30 is also the deadline for Faculty, Academic Staff, and Limited Appointees to request a swap in the type of leave used to another type of leave. Employees with questions should contact the human resources department in their college, school, or division with questions.  |  |  |  | ATP to Hold Next Status Update on June 22All faculty and staff are invited to attend the Administrative Transformation Program’s next virtual status update on Wednesday, June 22, at 10 a.m. ATP is a systemwide program focused on standardizing finance, human resources, and research administration processes and implementing the Workday and Huron Research Suite technology systems. Please register by June 20.  |  |  |  | Rec Well Summer Staff Intramural SportsRec Well is offering free, in-person Staff Intramural (IM) sports this summer. Staff IMs are a variety of events and offerings geared solely to staff members. Employees who participate enjoy meeting new people, staying active, and connecting with other staff on campus.
