Some campus parking restrictions waived Nov. 27–28

With some exceptions, parking permits will not be enforced on Thursday, Nov. 27 and many parking restrictions will be waived on Friday, Nov. 28. This is due to reduced Metro Transit bus service. Find details at transportation.wisc.edu.

Eagle Heights permits now available for weekday commuter parking

Eagle Heights permits provide convenient access to campus, with designated parking areas located near bus stops for routes 80 and 84. Both routes provide frequent, fare-free service to and from central campus locations. Permits are available now from Transportation Services with no waiting list.

Finance@UW Conference call for proposals and registrations

The Finance@UW Conference offers a full day of professional development for employees in finance, including staff in the finance job group, as well as administrative specialists, department administrators, and others whose positions include responsibility for financial functions. The conference is scheduled for March 17, 2026, at Union South. Conference organizers are inviting proposals from potential presenters who would like to share practical insights, innovative strategies, or success stories with conference attendees. Proposals are due Dec. 12, 2025. Conference registration is also open. The $75 fee for UW employees, Universities of Wisconsin employees, and affiliates includes workshops, the keynote session, and meals.

UW 403(b) SRP can supplement retirement savings

UW–Madison employees can take advantage of free one-on-one counseling sessions or webinars to better understand how to save for retirement with the UW 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Program (SRP). Financial consultants from TIAA and Fidelity are available to guide employees who are new to retirement planning and those who are refining their retirement strategy. Attend live and on-demand webinars or schedule an individual counseling session online. Virtual appointments are readily available.

Free financial counseling with both TIAA and Fidelity is in person at 780 Regent St. in Madison, with free parking available. In-person appointments are available with Fidelity on December 10 and 17, and with TIAA on December 9 and 10.
