March 19, 2025 | | | Expanded COVID-19 Testing Coming in SpringTo accommodate more regular and frequent COVID-19 testing in the spring semester, UW–Madison will partner with Shield T3. This will ensure that all undergraduate students who are in Madison are tested twice each week. Employees and graduate students working on or visiting campus will also be required to be tested regularly. UW–Madison will establish additional testing sites on campus where students and employees will submit saliva samples for quick results. More details about how the campus testing plan will affect employees will be provided at a later date. | | | | Reduced Cost Parking Options for Some EmployeesUW–Madison employees with a salary of less than $35,000 per year in base wages, as well as graduate and professional students, are now eligible for reduced and low-cost parking options. These changes have been made in response to the current public health situation. Although Madison Metro Transit and campus bus routes are following safety procedures, some in the UW community prefer not to use public transportation at this time. Reduced prices are available on monthly, semester, and annual base lot parking permits on a temporary basis during the 2020–21 parking year (Sept. 1, 2020–August 31, 2021). More information about these and other parking options can be found in the reduced cost parking options chart (PDF) available at transportation.wisc.edu/smart-restart-hub. | | | | Thanksgiving Meals Available for Pre-OrderThe Wisconsin Union is offering Thanksgiving To Go this year, with a variety of meal options and a-la-carte items available.
