Town Hall on Single Payroll for Employees with 12-Month Contracts

All UW System employees who are paid monthly—including UW–Madison employees—will be moved to a biweekly pay schedule beginning in July. Employees who are currently paid monthly over 12 months can refer to the Single Payroll timeline for information on how the transition will impact their payroll schedule. A virtual Town Hall will be hosted by UW System on Thursday, May 13, 4–5 p.m., specifically for those employees who are paid over 12 months. Advance registration is not required. The event will be recorded for viewing later on demand. Mandatory Cybersecurity Awareness Training has Begun

All UW–Madison faculty and staff are required to complete Cybersecurity Awareness Training by June 30, 2021. Employees received a “Welcome” email last week from Drip7, DoIT’s partner in delivering the training. Follow the instructions in the email to log in and complete the training. You may start the training and come back to it or complete the entire training at once. The training should take less than 25 minutes to complete for most employees. A text-based version of the training is very accessible to all users, including those with disabilities; enroll at The training is also being translated into multiple languages. Free Virtual Bucky's Workout on May 19

Rec Well instructors will lead a free virtual workout on Wednesday, May 19, noon–12:50 p.m. UW–Madison staff, faculty, and students of all fitness levels are welcome and encouraged to join. The event is also a Well Wisconsin employer-sponsored activity. The Well Wisconsin program enables employees to earn a $150 wellness incentive by completing a health assessment, a health check, and one well-being activity by October 8, 2021.
