March 26, 2025 |  |  | Town Hall Meeting on Employee VaccinesBeginning March 1, state health officials made additional populations eligible for COVID-19 vaccination. Due to limited supplies of the vaccine, University Health Services (UHS) will not be able to immediately offer the vaccine to campus members who would newly qualify. Employees can learn more about campus vaccinations by attending a live forum on Thursday, March 4, from noon to 1 p.m., on the UW–Madison YouTube channel. A link to the Town Hall, as well as updates on the campus response to the pandemic, can be found at covidresponse.wisc.edu.  |  |  |  | Spending and Saving Plan Workshops for EmployeesUW Credit Union is offering a free online workshop, “Your Spending and Saving Plan,” to UW–Madison employees. Participants will learn how to create a saving and spending plan based on their unique situation. Resources for managing personal and family finances will be provided, and there will time for questions and answers. Registration is required and can be done up until the time the workshop starts. The one-hour workshops are scheduled for various times of day on March 24, April 27, May 12, and June 22. The all-virtual event will include digital posters highlighting improvements, innovations, and best practices implemented across campus over the past year or two. Any member of the UW–Madison community who has a project success story to share is welcome to submit a poster. Interested parties should complete a brief survey no later than Wednesday, March 17. The deadline to submit the digital (PDF) posters is Monday, March 29. Resources to help with poster creation are available on the Showcase website.
