The UW–Madison Police Department (UWPD) has recently updated its Equity Dashboard to add data on service calls for the second quarter of 2022. The Equity Dashboard promotes transparency and provides a set of success measures that speak directly to the UWPD’s commitment to equity in policing. Users can view UWPD calls for service, arrests, citations, use of force, complaint data, and more. Information can be downloaded by the user for any quarter in which data is available. The dashboard also provides general information about programs and services offered by the UWPD. The Equity Dashboard can be found at go.wisc.edu/uwpddashboard.

The Office of Strategic Consulting is hosting a free professional development session on Leading Successful Change: Lessons from “Bending Granite” on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 10:30‒11:30 a.m. in Union South. The presenters are the authors of the new book, “Bending Granite: 30+ true stories of leading change,” which includes stories from UW–Madison. The session is part of the series, Ignite: Fueling Organizational Excellence. Advance registration is required.

The 2022 Information & Technology Leadership Conference (I&TLC) invites proposals from individuals and teams who would like to present at the conference. The event will be held both virtually and in person at the Gordon Dining and Event Center all day on Thursday, December 1. This year’s conference theme is Building Your IT Leadership Toolkit. Program proposals can focus on any aspect of leadership and are due by Thursday, Sept. 29. Registration for the conference will open in mid-October.
