W-2 forms now available online

The 2024 W-2 forms (Wage and Tax Statements) are now available for all active Universities of Wisconsin employees, including UW‒Madison employees, on MyUW. To find your W-2 statement, go to my.wisc.edu > Payroll Information > Tax Statements. Paper copies will be postmarked by January 31, 2025, and sent via U.S. mail to employees who did not consent to electronic only W-2 form distribution. Some employees will receive additional tax forms from the Universities of Wisconsin. These additional forms are not applicable to all employees. Examples include Form 1095-C, the Fellowship Letter, and Form 1042-S. For information on these forms, visit the Tax Statements tab on MyUW or the Payroll Help page at uwservice.wisconsin.edu/help/payroll.

New unified HIB policy to take effect Feb. 3

UW–Madison’s new, unified Hostile & Intimidating Behavior Policy will go into effect on Monday, Feb. 3. Under the new policy, all formal investigations will be conducted by the university’s Office of Compliance.

Announcing keynote and call for proposals: Showcase 2025

The Office of Strategic Consulting is now accepting proposals for breakout sessions at Showcase 2025, the annual campus event highlighting continuous improvement at UW–Madison. Scheduled for Thursday, April 17, at Union South, this free event will feature a fireside chat with Provost Charles Isbell and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Rob Cramer. Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit proposals for one-hour breakout sessions on topics related to organizational effectiveness. Breakout session proposals are due by Feb. 7. Proposals for posters are also being accepted and are due by March 7. Registration is now open for the event. Learn more at showcase.wisc.edu.

Free parenting classes now open for spring

The Office of Child Care and Family Resources offers free parenting classes to UW–Madison employees, students, and spouses/partners. These classes provide valuable tools for navigating common parenting issues, promoting healthy child development, and improving well-being both at home and on campus. Registration for the Spring 2025 Series is now open and includes classes on raising teens, parenting as a team, setting healthy boundaries with family, and more. All classes are held virtually via Zoom from noon to 1:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
