Additional resources, with everything from HR, professional development, transportation info and discounts are posted and continuously updated at working.wisc.edu.  |  |  |  | New Labor Rules AnnouncedThe U.S. Department of Labor has increased the salary threshold the Fair Labor Standards Act to $47,476 annually from $23,660. Employees whose salary falls below the new threshold must be paid hourly, report hours worked, and be compensated for overtime. The new rules go into effect December 1. OHR is working closely with HR departments campus-wide on how the new rule will be implemented to ensure compliance. We will provide more information once the new federal regulations are fully interpreted.  |  |  |  | TSA 403(b) Basics: June 7Are you on track saving for your future? This workshop is intended for new investors and those not yet in the UW Tax-Sheltered Annuity 403(b) Program and it will help you understand the basics of investing and what to look for when you choose your investments.  |  |  |  | Summer Road WorkCrews will use the summer to improve campus streets, meaning temporary closures throughout the summer.
