March 21, 2025 |  |  | Nominations Open for Outstanding Women of ColorThe UW–Madison Outstanding Women of Color Awards honor women of color among UW–Madison faculty, staff, students, and in the greater Madison community. The awards recognize outstanding contributions in social justice, community service, scholarship, and/or community building. A selection committee made up of students, faculty, and staff will review the nominations. The honorees will be announced at the annual Diversity Forum on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. Nomination packets are due Friday, Sept. 20. The nomination form can be found at go.wisc.edu/owoc.  |  |  |  | Employers Invited to Recruit Students at Job CarnivalThe campus-wide Student Job Carnival will be held Thursday, Sept. 12, 3–6 p.m. at the Sellery Basketball Court, Gordon Terrace (rain location will be the Sellery Lounge in Sellery Residence Hall). The fair is open to both UW and non-UW students and is free to both students and employers. The job carnival will be an interactive event with games, prizes, and food. Employers who would like a presence at the fair should respond by Friday, August 9 by completing a brief survey. Registrations after August 9 will not be included in advertising materials.
