Answers to common questions about Workday

Workday, the new Universities of Wisconsin cloud-based software platform that brings together data about people, finances and operations, will launch on July 7, 2025. All UW–Madison employees will use Workday in some way and should start training now to be prepared for the transition. Employees can find answers to frequently asked questions about Workday, as well as other updates, at atpmadison.wisc.edu.

Registration open for Student Employment Summer Summit

The 6th annual Student Employment Summer Summit will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 10:45 a.m.–4:15 p.m., at Gordon Dining and Event Center. This in-person event brings together supervisors, hiring managers, and others who support student employment at UW‒Madison and beyond. Keynote speaker Vantrel Mainor will share the processes involved in helping students become more self-sufficient. The event is hosted by the Student Employment team in the Office of Student Financial Aid and is offered at no cost. Registration opens today, May 14, and is due by June 4.

Showcase 2025 resources available online

Resources from Showcase 2025, which took place on April 17, are now available on the Showcase website. These include a recording of the fireside chat with Provost Charles Isbell Jr. and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Rob Cramer, copies of the breakout session presentations, and digital versions of the posters. Administrative Quality Satisfaction Survey final reports issued

A year ago, UW–Madison employees and graduate assistants participated in the Administrative Quality Satisfaction Survey (AQSS). The results revealed an improvement in overall satisfaction compared to 2022. The comprehensive final report and an interactive tableau with detailed data are now available on the AQSS website.
