UW-Madison workout facilities will have adjusted hours during spring break, March 18-25, closing earlier than usual. The Natatorium, Shell and SERF will all close at 8 p.m. most days during break. In addition, several UW dining halls will be closed during the break, while others have changed hours. Finally, some UW campus bus routes will be on their limited recess service schedules. Regular hours resume Monday, March 27. Working at UW will not be issued during spring break; the next edition will come on Wednesday, March 29.    

Two new scams are realistic looking but deceptive, one involving a Gmail attachment and the other a supposed Netflix email. The first involves an email with a plausible subject, and an attachment that takes users to a fake Google sign-in page where personal information can be collected. Remember, any email asking you for account information is probably a scam. The latest Netflix email scam does just that, asking users to click on a link from an email, that sends users to a website that looks very similar to an official Netflix login page. Simply don’t click on links in this kind of email. The UW-Madison Division of Information Technology has put together a guide to help identify email scams to help.

Currently employed UW-Madison faculty and staff can now access Adobe Creative Cloud with a breadth of Adobe services at no cost to them, both at home and at work. Previously, UW-Madison faculty and staff could use Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps at no cost on work devices only. Creative Cloud is Adobe’s suite of graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, and cloud services.
