2017 FSA Claims Deadline is March 31

UW–Madison employees enrolled in the 2017 Medical and/or Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) must submit eligible claims for the 2017 plan year for reimbursement by Saturday, March 31, 2018. Claims should be submitted directly to TASC, the FSA Administrator. Claims must have been incurred January 1 through December 31, 2017 to be eligible for reimbursement from your 2017 account.

Office Professional Event Builds Skills

The UW–Madison Conference for the Office Professional will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. at Union South. This annual event provides skill-building, networking, and practical tools for personal enrichment and professional development to UW–Madison employees and members of the public. Dr. Zorba Paster will deliver the keynote presentation. Sessions topics will include conflict management, building better work relationships, business writing, technology tools, the benefits of an inclusive work environment, work-life integration, and more. Register by March 23 to receive the "early bird" rate of $100. After March 23, the cost to attend is $125. Scholarships are available for UW–Madison employees. Nominations Open for Community-University Partnership Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 UW–Madison Community-University Partnership Awards. The awards recognize the work of UW–Madison faculty, staff and students, and their community partners as they address pressing public issues across the State of Wisconsin. Any UW–Madison employee or student may nominate a partnership by the April 11 deadline.

Free Session on Google Analytics Basics

Google Analytics is a tool for capturing and analyzing visitor traffic to your website. WiscWeb DoIT is hosting “Google Analytics 101” on Thursday, April 5, 9–11 a.m. at the Memorial Library (728 State Street), Room 126. The session is designed for anyone who is interested in using Google Analytics to develop strategies for getting more visitors to their campus-affiliated website. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Additional sessions will be held throughout the year. Those who are unable to attend can view the February 7 session online.
