More Opportunities for Vaccines for Employees

University Health Services is now offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments to all employees at UW–Madison, including in-person and remote employees. To search for and schedule appointments at UHS, visit go.wisc.edu/myuhscovidvax. Appointments at UHS are limited due to limited COVID-19 vaccine supplies. All eligible members of the UW community who are interested in vaccination should also seek appointments off campus and can find options by visiting dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/vaccine-get.htm. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also offers a registry to schedule available appointments in the community, which can be found at vaccinate.wi.gov/en-US.

Reminder: Split Benefits Deductions Coming for Employees Paid Biweekly

For UW System employees—including UW–Madison employees—who are currently paid biweekly, most deductions for benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance will be split evenly over the first two biweekly paychecks starting with the April 22, 2021 paycheck. UW–Madison employees who are affected by this change are encouraged to review the information and financial resources available at hr.wisc.edu/pay/split-benefits-deductions. From this web page, employees can follow the link to frequently asked questions and answers (FAQs) provided by UW System. These FAQs are available in English, Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali. Trained representatives are available to answer employee questions and can be reached by phoning 608-265-2257 or by emailing 2021payrollchanges@ohr.wisc.edu.
