UW-Madison transitions to new jobs website

On Monday, Oct. 10, UW-Madison launched a new employment website, jobs.wisc.edu, offering a fresh look at postings for job applicants and a new system for those managing recruitment and selection. The Talent Recruitment and Engagement Management System (TREMS) was chosen after a thorough study of campus needs. The UW-Madison Office of Human Resources will transition from its former site, JobApply (uwjobapply.wisc.edu), to the new site.

The do’s & don’ts of Interdepartmental (Campus) Mail

Interdepartmental Mail, also known as Campus Mail, is a service that specializes in delivering mail to buildings on campus. It’s best known for delivering those brown envelopes with the string ties. Envelopes can be filled with a variety of materials - please, no breakables or non-work-related items. It's not associated with the U.S. Post Office, so Interdepartmental Mail does not require postage. The Campus Mailroom receives thousands of pieces of mail each month so it’s important to accurately address and organize outgoing mail. New deadlines for renovation project requests

FP&M Physical Plant-Campus Renovation Services has instituted new deadlines for the submission of renovation project requests. Requests for Summer 2017 renovation projects must be submitted by Jan. 1, 2017. This is the first in a series of process improvements to how Campus Renovation Services schedules and delivers renovation projects during periods of peak construction.
