UW–Madison Responds to Sexual Misconduct

Chancellor Blank has published a blog post that explains how UW–Madison is identifying and addressing sexual misconduct involving faculty and staff. Sexual misconduct includes sexual harassment and sexual assault. University leadership plans to enhance centralized reporting, record-keeping, and training related to sexual misconduct. The university is committed to providing a welcoming, supportive environment in which all students, faculty, and staff are able to succeed and thrive.

How to Earn Your $150 Well Wisconsin Incentive

Employees and spouses currently enrolled in the State Group Health Insurance plan are eligible for an annual $150 wellness incentive. New in 2018, completion of one Well Wisconsin Well-being activity is required to earn the $150 wellness incentive. Examples of well-being activities include a Million Steps Challenge and a 21-day meditation experience. Participants must also complete the health screening and health assessment. All required activities must be completed and submitted to StayWell by October 19, 2018. For details, visit wellwisconsin.staywell.com or call the StayWell HelpLine at 800-821-6591.

America Saves Week Promotes Financial Wellness

America Saves Week, scheduled for February 26–March 3, helps UW–Madison employees save money and achieve their financial goals. UW System Tax-Sheltered Annuity (TSA) 403(b) providers, in partnership with UWell, are offering workshops, credit checkups, and counseling sessions. All events are offered at no cost. Deadline Approaching for Employee Career Conference

"Construct Your Career at UW," a career development conference for UW–Madison employees, is coming up on Tuesday, March 6, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. at Union South. This free conference is designed to help employees manage their careers while remaining employed at UW–Madison. Workshops will help attendees develop the skills needed at every stage in the career life cycle. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions about campus resources related to career development. Employees may attend the entire conference or come for part of the day. Seating in the workshops is limited. Registration, which includes a complimentary lunch, is required by Monday, Feb. 19.
