WRS Annual Statement of Benefits Now Available

If you were covered by the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) in 2017, your WRS Annual Statement of Benefits is now available. To view your statement, go to MyUW and launch the Benefit Information module. Then click on the Statements tab and choose “2017 ETF Annual Statement of Benefits (WRS) Issued 2018.” The statement includes your 2017 earnings and service, years of creditable service as of January 1, 2018, retirement benefit projections, primary beneficiary designation(s) for your WRS account, and more. Resources to help you understand your statement can be found online at etf.wi.gov/members/statement. You can also register for a live webinar, which will be offered several times in May. If you have questions, please contact your human resources office.

More Job Description Orientation Sessions Added

All UW–Madison employees are encouraged to attend a Title and Total Compensation Study Job Description Orientation Session. Due to strong interest, additional sessions have been scheduled on May 7, 9:30–10:45 a.m. and 1:00–2:15 p.m. at Gordon Dining and Event Center and on May 11, 10:30–11:45 a.m. at the Health Sciences and Learning Center. These sessions will introduce the job description process and prepare employees for their role in the process. The study will result in job titles and pay ranges that are competitive with our higher education peers and local organizations we compete with for talent. A webinar screening for faculty and staff, "Undocumented Students in Turbulent Times: Support Them Legally, Socio-Economically & Academically," will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 1–3 p.m. at the School of Education, Room 159.
