Employees Can Manage Paycheck Direct Deposit Online

Beginning November 4, 2019, UW–Madison employees will be able to manage direct deposit of their paycheck online through MyUW. Employees will be able to add, edit, or delete a direct deposit account online from their computer, smart phone, or tablet. It will no longer be necessary to submit a paper form, although paper forms will still be accepted. To get started, log in to MyUW, launch the Payroll Information module, and click on “Update Direct Deposit.” Learn more at hr.wisc.edu/pay/direct-deposit.

Learn About TSA Supplemental Retirement Savings

The UW Tax-Sheltered Annuity (TSA) 403(b) Program is a voluntary, supplemental retirement savings program that allows employees to invest a portion of their income on a pre-tax basis, after-tax (Roth) basis, or a combination of both. A one-on-one counseling session with a financial representative can help you learn about the TSA program. Sessions are offered on several dates in November at Union South and Memorial Union. You can learn more at a UW TSA 403(b) workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1–2 p.m. or Wednesday, Nov. 20, 12:30–1:30 p.m. at 21 North Park Street, room 1106. IT Listening Sessions Scheduled

The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is hosting a series of listening sessions with UW–Madison Chief Information Officer Lois Brooks in November. The sessions are open to all members of the university IT community. Brooks will provide a brief progress report on IT initiatives. Participants will be invited to share their experiences and provide input. Registration is required. Sessions are limited in size; early sign-up is recommended.

Employee Career Conference Invites Session Proposals

The UW-Madison Employee Career Conference will take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, 8:30 a.m.–4:15 p.m. at Union South. The conference supports employee career development by providing the skills and resources needed to establish and maintain a satisfying career. Anyone who is interested in presenting at the conference is welcome to submit a session proposal by Friday, Dec. 6, 2019. Sessions will focus on the foundations of career management, tools and resources for taking the next steps, and career wellness for a lifetime. Registration is now open for those who wish to attend the conference.
