TTC Project Offers Online Resources for Employees

The Title and Total Compensation (TTC) Project Resource Library features online learning, factsheets, and videos to help build understanding of how job titles, position descriptions, and salary structures will change for many UW–Madison staff. The new job titles and position descriptions will take effect in spring, 2020. Resources will be updated frequently. TTC is a campus-wide initiative to attract, reward, and retain university employees by creating a market-informed pay and benefits structure. Learn more about the project at go.wisc.edu/ttcproject.

Resources and Events for Campus Supervisors

Campus Supervisors Network (CSN) is a Community of Practice dedicated to promoting leadership and personnel management at UW–Madison. CSN supports managers and supervisors by fostering the sharing of ideas and best practices. A planning committee of peers develops training and networking opportunities. Winter Parking Rules in Effect

UW–Madison campus winter parking rules went into effect November 15 and will remain in effect through March 15, 2020. Rules are enforced 2–6 a.m. every day, regardless of weather conditions. There is no parking along Observatory Drive or Linden Drive, and parking is restricted to designated rows in several campus parking lots. If the university declares a Snow Action Day, no parking is allowed on the top level of UW parking ramps. A map of winter parking areas and other winter tips can be found online at transportation.wisc.edu/winter-procedures.

Road Closure Correction and Update

Last week’s issue of Working at UW incorrectly stated that a section of Observatory Drive near the Natatorium would be closed to traffic through Friday, Dec. 9. It is currently anticipated that this section of Observatory Drive will reopen on Monday, Dec. 9. Updates on road closures and detours are available at transportation.wisc.edu.
