W-2 Forms Now Available Online

Current UW–Madison employees can find their 2019 W-2 Wage and Tax Statement online at my.wisc.edu. Go to the Payroll Information module and click on the Tax Statements button to view your W-2 form. Please note that you must be logged in to a UW network (either by connecting directly or connecting remotely using VPN) in order to access your W-2 Form. Employees will receive a paper copy of the W-2 form in the mail by Jan. 31, 2020. Employees who elected “electronic consent only” by Jan. 15, 2020, will not receive a paper copy in the mail. Some employees will receive additional tax forms from the university.

Diversity Forum Call for Proposals

The annual UW–Madison Diversity Forum will take place Oct. 27-28, 2020, at Union South. The Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement is inviting proposals for breakout sessions. The goal of the Diversity Forum is to update attendees with the latest knowledge and research in the diversity and inclusion fields, educate them about perspectives and best practices for equity and social justice, and activate attendees so they go on to make positive changes in the world. Breakout sessions will be 75-minutes long and can be workshops, panel discussions, or lectures. Session proposals are due March 11, 2020.

Nominations Open for Regents' Academic Staff Excellence Awards

Nominations are now being sought from UW–Madison for the 2020 Regents’ Academic Staff Excellence Awards. Across UW System, there will be two individual recipients, and a third award to honor an outstanding program. The Regent awards committee will screen nominees based on four criteria: excellence of performance, personal interaction, initiative and creativity, and outstanding achievement. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Feb. 7, 2020. All nominations must be submitted through the application website. Coffee and Conversation Series Offers Spring Events

The “Coffee and Conversation” series hosted by the UW–Madison Women and Leadership Program has scheduled spring semester events on February 6, March 5, and April 2, 8 a.m.–10 a.m., at Tripp Commons, Memorial Union. On Feb. 6, Erri C. Hewitt will speak on “Preventing Professional Burnout: Putting Wellness Research into Action.” Coffee and light refreshments will be served and networking is encouraged. The events are offered at no cost and are open to anyone on campus with an interest in the advancement of women. Advance registration is requested.
