Reminder: February TTC Forums for Employees

All UW–Madison employees are encouraged to attend an informational update on the Title and Total Compensation (TTC) Project. Sessions are scheduled through Feb. 26, with an online forum offered on Weds., Feb. 26. A late-night session will be held in multiple languages on Weds., Feb. 12, 11 p.m.–12:30 a.m. at the Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) for second- and third-shift employees. Coronavirus Information Available Online

University Health Services (UHS) is maintaining a website that offers up-to-date information on coronavirus for the campus community. The site answers frequently asked questions, offers respiratory hygiene tips, and provides links to resources for students, faculty, and staff. Any crucial updates will be posted in multiple languages, including Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali. UW–Madison is monitoring the circumstances carefully and will continue to comply with Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) best practices and guidance as they are released. The risk to the general public remains low. Information is available at uhs.wisc.edu/coronavirus-2019.

America Saves Week Promotes Financial Well-being

UW–Madison employees are encouraged to participate in America Saves Week, February 24–28, 2020. Webinars, in-person workshops, counseling sessions, and credit consultations will be available at no cost. These resources can help you plan for your future and achieve your savings goals. Weekly Labs Promote Effective Teaching

Twice-weekly Active Teaching Labs help instructors improve personalized learning, enhance course design and management, foster social learning, create course content, and measure student learning. Labs are held on Thursdays at 1 p.m. and Fridays at 8:30 a.m. in the Middleton Building, 1305 Linden Drive. Walk-ins are welcome, although registration is encouraged. The labs are a partnership between DoIT Academic Technology and the Teaching Academy.
