Some Benefits Changes Take Effect This Week

For most employees, benefits deductions and contributions are changing in 2022. Some of these changes have already taken effect. Others are effective with the Jan. 13, 2022, paycheck. The Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) employee and employee contributions for 2022 will decrease slightly for most employees, beginning with the Jan. 13, 2022, paycheck. Details can be found on the WRS web page for UW System employees. For those employees participating in the UW 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Program, the Jan. 13 paycheck will be the first paycheck with contributions going to the recordkeeper selected during Annual Benefits Enrollment (or by default if no action was taken by the employee).
