The RACI Matrix and Communications Plan: Two Tools to Help Bring Clarity to Your Project Teams

February 20 | 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Online

Presented by Theresa Lins, multisite project manager, Wisconsin Network for Health Research and the Midwest Area Research Consortium for Health

Content level: introductory

Navigating complex projects with many different stakeholders requires a clear understanding of responsibilities and how project information will be communicated. RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed) matrices and communication plans are two tools that can help provide a structured approach to prevent duplication of effort and confusion. In this session, participants learned how to develop and use both these tools, ensuring that everyone involved in a project knows what’s expected of them, including how, when, and with whom to share project information.
