Workshop builds bystander intervention skills
Bystander Intervention: Stepping In with Care and Confidence is a highly interactive workshop offered by Learning and Talent Development to UW–Madison employees at no charge. This workshop builds skills for identifying and interrupting behaviors that negatively impact the workplace, in order to build healthy, inclusive, and engaging workplaces. Participants will practice intervention options in real-life scenarios and will leave equipped with options to interrupt and improve concerning workplace situations when they arise. This workshop is offered virtually and in person; both formats are available in the employee course catalog. The next virtual workshop will meet for two-hour sessions on Jan. 15–16, 2026.
