Recordings Provide Resources for Organizational Excellence
In the fall of 2022, the Office of Strategic Consulting offered Ignite: Fueling Organizational Excellence, a series of hour-long interactive workshops that focused on the tools and resources faculty and staff need to promote and sustain organizational excellence at UW–Madison. Many of these sessions are available for viewing as recorded sessions, including Atomic Habits at Work and a session on intentionally creating a workplace culture that values justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. A Note about Upcoming Legal Holidays
UW‒Madison will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, and Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, because the legal holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Day both fall on Sunday this year. When a legal holiday falls on a Sunday, the legal holiday is observed and UW–Madison is closed on the Monday following the legal holiday. Due to varying business needs throughout UW and some ongoing operations, some employees may be required to work on one or both of these legal holidays. Employees with questions may confirm their work schedules and time off with their supervisors.
