Review Your Benefits Enrollment
Employees are now able to review their 2023 Benefit Confirmation Statement in Self Service in MyUW. To view the Confirmation Statement, log in to MyUW, go to Benefit Information, and then choose Benefit Enrollment Confirmation Statements. This is a good time to review the 2023 statement and make sure your benefits enrollments are those you elected or confirmed during the annual benefits enrollment period in October. If you have any questions or concerns, please send an email to benefits@ohr.wisc.edu as soon as possible, or ask your local human resources contact for assistance. The first benefits deductions for 2023 will be taken from the biweekly paychecks on Dec. 15 and Dec. 29, 2022.

University Staff Have Until End of Year to Swap Sick Leave
University Staff who used sick leave in 2022 may be able to change the type of leave they used and instead use personal holiday, floating holiday, vacation, or vacation carryover hours they have accrued. Employees may also wish to consider swapping sick leave to reduce or maintain Income Continuation Insurance (ICI) premiums or to take advantage of deferred enrollment into the ICI program during the ICI Annual Review. Any requests to swap one type of leave for another must be submitted by Dec. 30, 2022. Employees should contact their local human resources office with any questions.
