The free period for the general public to download is over, but you can still access it through the UW-Madison Campus Software Library, and it won’t cost you a cent to use on a UW-owned computer. Students can also install the Education edition for free on their personally owned computers. The operating system features a familiar and easy-to-navigate interface, increased support for gaming, and the Cortana personal assistant.
