Increased email security helps spot imposter emails
Beginning Aug. 5, 2024, UW–Madison will be taking additional steps to protect the campus community from fake emails that pretend to be from trusted sources. All incoming emails will be checked for authenticity. If an email is deemed suspicious because it fails the authentication check, it will be sent to your junk folder instead of your inbox.
