Multilingual training in stress management for employees
Daytime and late-night sessions for UW‒Madison employees on managing stress will be offered in early June. Trained counselors from the Employee Assistance Office (EAO) will talk about stress, burnout, and resources that support employees. In addition to sessions in English, interpretation will be offered in Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali. The daytime session will be held on Thursday, June 1, 1:30‒2:30 p.m., at Gordon Dining and Event Center, Symphony Room. The late-night session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, 11 p.m.‒midnight at the Health Sciences Learning Center. No registration is required. Supervisors are encouraged to approve requests from employees who wish to attend. These events are hosted by the EAO and Cultural Linguistic Services.
