UW–Madison employees with a salary of less than $35,000 per year in base wages, as well as graduate and professional students, are now eligible for reduced and low-cost parking options. These changes have been made in response to the current public health situation. Although Madison Metro Transit and campus bus routes are following safety procedures, some in the UW community prefer not to use public transportation at this time. Reduced prices are available on monthly, semester, and annual base lot parking permits on a temporary basis during the 2020–21 parking year (Sept. 1, 2020–August 31, 2021).
