Reminder: Submit leave reports and leave swap requests by June 30
Faculty, Academic Staff, and Limited Appointees are required to submit monthly leave reports, whether or not leave is used. Employees must report leave as it is taken, or enter a “No Leave Taken” at the end of the month. Missing leave reports with an effective date of June 28, 2025, or earlier must be submitted and approved by June 30, 2025, for fiscal year July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. Entries with an effective date of June 29, 2025, or later must be held and entered in Workday. Failure to submit leave for fiscal year 2025 by September 30 will result in a permanent reduction of sick leave hours. Employees with missing leave reports receive email notification and may also check for missing leave reports in MyUW.
In addition, June 30 is the deadline for Faculty, Academic Staff, and Limited Appointees to request a swap in the type of leave used to another type of leave. Employees with questions should contact their local human resources office.
