Workday, the new Universities of Wisconsin cloud-based software platform that brings together data about people, finances, and operations, will launch on July 7, 2025. All UW–Madison faculty and staff will use Workday for employee self-service tasks and everyone is encouraged to complete Workday training.

 

 

You do not need to enroll to take the training. You will find Workday Fundamentals: Workday for All Employees in your Universities of Wisconsin instance of Canvas. The course is self-paced and takes about 40-50 minutes to complete. You may pause the training at any time and resume later where you left off. For employees who do not use a computer in their work, in-person training is available.
