At the Office of Strategic Consulting’s Showcase event on April 18, Provost Charles Isbell presented the keynote on “What It Means To Be an Elite Public University for the 21st Century.” In a moderated conversation, Isbell shared his insights on why the university’s current transformation efforts are vital to the future of our research enterprise and how to lean into the changes ahead. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and hear Provost Isbell’s viewpoints based on his career as a computationalist, researcher, educator, and advocate for access in higher education.
