New and returning instructors are invited to the Pre-semester Teaching Institute on August 27, 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., at the Memorial Union. This event will share strategies for communicating clear expectations to students, designing effective activities and assessments, and engaging students through active learning and technology. The institute is free and open to all who teach and support instruction at UW–Madison. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register to attend.
