Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice extended the Americans with Disabilities Act’s (ADA) digital accessibility rule compliance deadline from April 24, 2026, to April 26, 2027. While the change provides additional time, it remains a requirement under the ADA and does not change the university’s goals or expectations, reflected in the updated digital accessibility policy. The Initiative will continue its work as planned, with a focus on supporting employees with tools, guidance, and resources.
