UW-Madison employees’ new  State Group Life Insurance premium and coverage level, effective April 1, is available by visiting https://uwservice.wisc.edu/administration/sgl-notice/. It’s based on your age as of April 1 each year and your highest calendar year of Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) earnings. If you have changed age categories, or have had a salary change since April 1, 2016, then your premium may change effective April 1, 2017. Premiums will be reflected on the March 30, 2017 paycheck for University Staff paid biweekly and the March 31, 2017 paycheck for Faculty/Academic Staff/Limited Appointees paid monthly. If you did not have an age category or salary change, your premium will remain the same. If you have questions, contact your human resources office.
