Work Out with Bucky at Camp Randall Stadium
All UW–Madison faculty, staff, and students are invited to join a free workout at Camp Randall Stadium on Wednesday, May 22, noon–12:45 p.m. This high-energy, low-stress workout takes place on the Badger 50-yard line. Group fitness instructors from Rec Sports will lead the workout, with help from Bucky Badger himself. The workout is appropriate for all fitness levels, and accommodations will be available for all physical abilities. In the event of rain, the event will take place at the McClain Center. Resources and Events for Campus Supervisors
Campus Supervisors Network (CSN) is a Community of Practice dedicated to promoting leadership and personnel management at UW–Madison. CSN supports managers and supervisors by fostering the sharing of ideas and best practices. A planning committee of peers develops training and networking opportunities. CSN also shares information and offers a number of resources on its website. All supervisors and managers at UW–Madison are welcome to participate. Free Course Focuses on Creating Inclusive Environments
Registration is open for “Expanding Self-Knowledge to Create Inclusive Environments” on Tuesday, May 21, 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. at 21 North Park Street, room 5045. This free, all-day event combines two current Thrive@UW–Madison courses. Participants will explore how increased self-awareness can help support a more inclusive work environment. Participants will also consider the impact of personal and social identities on workplace relationships, and learn how our mental processes influence our actions and decisions at work. Showcase Celebrates Project Successes
The 20th annual Showcase, hosted by the Office of Strategic Consulting, will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 8 a.m.–12:15 p.m. at Union South. UW–Madison faculty and staff will share their successes, learn from others’ experiences, and connect with colleagues from units across campus. Poster exhibits will highlight some of the successful and innovative projects completed in the past year. The event also features breakout sessions and a keynote presentation by Elizabeth “Liz” Menzer, executive director of the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence, on “Building Capacity for Change.” All members of the campus community are welcome to attend at no cost. Registration is requested.

Deadline Approaching for Office Professionals Conference
The 29th Annual Office Professionals Conference will take place on Wednesday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Union South. Dr. Shilagh Mirgain, who was featured on the Today Show, will speak about “Thriving in Life.” The conference also includes 20 sessions on designing life and career, leading with authenticity, mindfulness, negotiation skills, creating inclusive environments, using Microsoft Excel, and more. Attendees may come and go throughout the day. The conference fee is $125, including lunch. Registrations are due Tuesday, April 12.

Innovation Grant Funding Available
Innovation Grants provide start-up funds of up to $5,000 for innovative proposals to expand UW–Madison’s capacity to build and support a diverse, inclusive, and respectful environment. Grant proposals for summer and early fall projects are now being accepted. Proposed projects should build on the UW–Madison diversity framework, Forward Together. Examples of capacity-building activities include research, teaching, and performance. The grants are sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost and Chief Diversity Officer and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement. Applications for this round of funding are due April 12.

Learn About Supplemental Retirement Savings
The UW Tax-Sheltered Annuity (TSA) 403(b) Program is a voluntary, supplemental retirement savings program that allows employees to invest a portion of their income on a pre-tax basis, after-tax (Roth) basis, or a combination of both. You can learn more at a free workshop, “Select, Sign Up and Save with Your UW TSA 403(b),” scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, noon–1 p.m. at 21 North Park Street, room 1108. Attend a Title and Total Compensation Project Forum
UW–Madison employees are invited to attend upcoming informational forums about the Title and Total Compensation Project (TTC). Attendees will learn how the project will benefit individual careers and the university. Project updates will be shared. Sessions will be held at various locations around campus on Tuesday, April 16, Wednesday, April 17, and Tuesday, April 23. The sessions on April 17 (late night) and April 23 (daytime) will be facilitated in English, Spanish, Hmong, Nepalese, Mandarin, and Tibetan. Advance registration is not required. Registration Open for Information and Technology Leadership Conference
The Sixth Annual Information and Technology Leadership Conference will take place on Tuesday, April 9 from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. at Union South. The conference theme is “From Hindsight to Foresight: Leading Holistically in a Data-Enabled Institution.” The keynote and breakout sessions will focus on how higher education leaders at all levels can use data to transform their organizations, create, coach, and grow. The conference fee of $50 includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. The deadline to register is Tuesday, April 2.

Become a Badger Well-Being Champion
UW–Madison Employee Wellness is inviting staff and faculty members to serve as Badger Well-Being Champions. Volunteers who join the Well-Being Champion Network will help create a culture of well-being in their work units. Champions will work with UW–Madison Employee Wellness to support employee health and well-being and help achieve their work unit’s goals. Individual volunteers and departments will be recognized for their efforts. Well-Being Champions agree to serve a one-year term and commit approximately one to two hours per month to the initiative.
